The set includes several spacers and fastening screws, allowing the palm shelf to be raised by 8–32 mm.

The ISSF recently changed the rule concerning the maximum height of the fore-end, measured from the centre line of the barrel to the bottom edge of the hand rest. This maximum dimension was increased from 90 mm to 120 mm.
